In conjunction with the 1989 International Viola Congress, June 21-25, University of Redlands, Redlands, CA. Age: 18-27 years. Semi-finalists will be chosen from a taped performance submitted by March 1, 1989. Finalist to be chosen at the Congress. First Prize: $1,000 and a featured performance on the Concerto Concert of the Congress of a premiere work by Wayne Bohrnstedt. Second prize: $350 and a performance on a master class at the Congress.
