Though I had been to Cape Town briefly, many years, ago, I had never been as an H4H representative and team member. My two weeks spent there far surpassed anything I could have imagined. Upon entering the H4H offices at the Ikamva Labantu center, I was immediately met with great warmth, welcome, and smiles. This compassion continued for the remainder of my stay. What struck me most about our operations, and what I believe to be the key differentiating factor that sets H4H apart from other sport and development organizations or enterprises, was the commitment and sustainability of our leaders on the ground. Through the years, H4H has established a solid network of local community leaders, our All Stars (H4H Staff) and MVPs (volunteers), who deliver our curriculum and programs on a daily basis.

Representatives from the South African Football Association (SAFA), Local Football Association (LFA), Knysna Local Municipality and Knysna & Partners immediately started with the planning process ensuring the success of the event. During a gala dinner prior to the match, Knysna Executive Mayor Eleanore Bouw-Spies said, "I can’t start to express my excitement and gratitude. Excitement because we have so many great players of 'The beautiful game' here in Knysna, and gratitude because you chose our area, not only to scout for talented players.” The Loerie Park stadium was filled to capacity with soccer enthusiasts similar to those who spent many a day watching the Danish Football team who had used Knysna as a base camp during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Greater Knysna fans watched the clash between Chippa United FC and Cape Town All Stars FC with great excitement. The loud cheers were heard by many near and far.
