We’ll have a wine tour, take the gondola to vulcan Etna and view Taormina from the top, before walking along its picturesque streets. This theatre has a history stretching back more than two thousand years. It is impressive how the Greeks could find the perfect spot for audio and visual effects. Modern technology enhances this scenografic location.
However it is just more than the building: the scripts, written around 400BC, are still so relevant nowadays because they describe human nature in such depth you’ll be surprised.
Why Greek theatre here? Because Siracusa was the second largest Greek town in the Mediterranean sea after Athens.

In the real heart of the historic center of Ortigia, inside a recently renovated nineteenth century building, near the ancient Jewish area and a few steps away from the major sites of historical and cultural interest in the city of Syracuse. The building, made up of the typical white stone, has just been restored in a minimalist and modern style, with all amenities. There is a little courtyard where you can relax and sunbathe.
