The study employed a qualitative approach with the support of pri - mary and secondary data related to the establishment of Parigi Moutong Regency. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews with the group figures of the expansion. The secondary data was obtained from mass media and government agencies as well as personal documentation. The theory used was the dimen- sion of the resource mobilization structure of the political opportunity structure (POST) theory. The study reveals that the success of the expansion movement in Parigi Moutong Regency for their structure resource mobilization by civil society organizations or non-formal to formal institutional build up pressure by using lobbying based on personal, professional and primordial networks.

Malaria is endemic in 80% cities in Indonesia and at about 45% people who live in endemic area is at risk for malaria infection. In Central Sulawesi, there were 84.653 cases in 2011. In Parigi Moutong regency, there were 701 cases in 2011. In Bobalo village, the case was increase from 6 in 2011 to 93 in 2012. This research was aimed to find out factors related to malaria incidence in Bobalo village, Palasa district, Parigi Moutong regency. This research employed an observational analytical design with cross sectional study' approach. There were 69 samples that were obtained by purposive sampling technique. The results show there is correlation between traveling habit and malaria incidence (p=0.001), living in swampy area and malaria incidence (p=0.000), using mosquito net and malaria incidence (p=0.000), types of occupation and malaria incidence (p=0.036). Promotion and prevention efforts are needed to increase the knowledge of society in applying prevention efforts of malaria. The research subjects were all of LKP Yelfi Salon's management, totaling seven people consisting of 4 administrators and three instructors. This research was conducted from April to May 2020. The data collection techniques used were: 1) interviews, 2) observation, and 3) documentation. While the research instruments used were interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation, and verification of conclusions, data sources. Triangulation is carried out to explain the validity of the data using sources. The results showed that the empowerment to improve the standard of living and community skills carried out by LKP Yelfi Salon through hair beauty course activities was carried out well. In its implementation, through an approach to the community, showing problems, providing problem-solving, showing the importance of change, implementing empowerment, until the assistance supplied by LKP Yelfi Salon can help the organization to rise and improve their standard of living and their families, and make the community able to live independently.

The subjects of this study were women who hold echelons. The data collection technique used in this study was literature review. For the validity of the data, the cross check technique was used. The data analysis technique used is the inductive analysis technique. The results showed that the role of women in the local government bureaucracy in Central Sulawesi was still not fully implemented. The echelon holder ratio is still dominated by men. However, it is possible that this ratio will change over time. Esta pesquisa é um tipo de pesquisa qualitativa sobre visões filosóficas no campo. A principal fonte de pesquisa é o suporte da literatura pelo método de entrevista, utilizando técnicas de amostragem de bolas de neve. O recurso das pessoas na pesquisa é a cultura, historiadores e figuras tradicionais de Kaili. Os resultados do estudo constatam que o conceito básico de sintuvu é a unidade baseada na deliberação para chegar a um acordo. A cultura sintuvu da maioria dos grupos comunitários (libuntodea) durante o reino do século XV, como forma de cooperação comunitária e obediência ao reino.

Thus, the community members can receive and understand family planning information properly and giving feedback. The problem posed is on how the role of Family Planning Field Officers in increasing the long-term contraceptive usage in Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted with the aim of revealing new concepts about the role of the Field Officers. This research was conducted using qualitative approach. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and document study. The results of the study illustrate that the role of the Field Officers in communicating Family Planning Programs to increase couples participation using long-term contraception has not yet materialized, because the quality of information delivered is insufficient.Local cultural factors also do not approve vasectomy because it is contrary to religious values. Based on the results of the study, the new findings raised were the capacity of the Field Officers, the social cultural and economic aspects of husband and wife, as well as the environment which greatly influenced the Field Officers’ role in increasing community participation of long-term contraceptive usage in Parigi Moutong Regency.

This research uses qualitative methods with a disaster risk analysis approach. The results showed that there is a need for a special health crisis response unit for efforts to overcome health crises. The lack of optimal capacity of health workers in overcoming health crises results in low handling of disasters that occur. It is necessary to carry out proper mitigation training in handling mitigation, prevention and preparedness for the types of liquefaction disasters. Training needs to be held with the aim of increasing the quality of health service capacity in disaster emergencies by utilizing local non-governmental organizations to carry out rapid assessments in disaster emergencies, and appropriate government policies are required in the event of a disaster emergency. Data collection was carried out with a strip random sampling scheme, in which the sampled strips were 20 x 100 m. Our observation revealed that in the Keywords: production forest area in Parigi Moutong and Sigi Regencies about 17 species of rattan rattan, diversity, production forest were identified, which were divided into two genera, each with 14 species of Calamus and 3 species of Daemonorops. The distribution of eleven species was uniform, the distribution of four species was not uniform, and three species had a clumped distribution. The importance of each species varies. There are 8 species with a relatively high mean importance value: Calamus zollingerii (36.62), Calamus ornatus var. celebicus Becc. (24.62), Calamus oodersianus Becc. (23.56), Calamus ornatus var. celebicus Becc. (lambang) (23.49), Calamus didymocarpus (Mart) Becc. (22.99), Calamus inops Becc. (22.25), Calamus sp. (sambuta) (18.00), and Calamus lejocaulis Becc. (15.82), while C. minahassae (dato) has the lowest importance value (6.05). It disclosed, the number of species and distribution of rattan in the production forest of the Central Sulawesi are relatively high and varies.
