What to Do  Stay calm but act swiftly and be alert to changes in the situation. Is there danger of further injuries?  Alert the qualified First Aider who should take appropriate action for minor injuries.  In the event of an injury requiring specialist treatment, call the emergency services – 999.  Determine whether injured person is conscious or not.  If conscious, confirm coherence by asking simple questions. Listen to what the injured person is saying.  If not place in the recovery position immediately and call emergency services – 999.  Do not move someone who may have major injuries. 1 From PRCC turn left & follow HORSENDEN LANE for 0.8 km (0.5 miles) 2 Go left over railway bridge & take first available left onto PICTS LANE, continue for 0.6 km (0.4 miles) 3 Turn right on to B4444 (STATION ROAD) 4 Follow B4444 (STATION ROAD) where the road splits, continue for 0.3 km (0.2 miles) 5 Follow A4010 (WYCOMBE ROAD) straight on, continue for 0.6 km (0.4 miles) 6 Take first available exit off roundabout on to A4010 (NEW ROAD), continue for 0.4 km (0.2 miles) – the left turn immediately BEFORE this roundabout takes you into the High Street and the Cross Keys Surgery is halfway down on the right. 7 Take fourth available exit off roundabout on to A4010 (AYLESBURY ROAD), continue for 1.9 km (1.2 miles) 8 Take second available exit off roundabout on to A4010 (AYLESBURY ROAD), continue for 4.3 km (2.6 miles) 9 Take first available exit off roundabout on to A4010 (RISBOROUGH ROAD), continue for 2.4 km (1.5 miles)

11 As you come to Stoke Mandeville Hospital the first thing you will see is the ambulance station (on the right of the road) - the way to A&E is clearly marked.
