The State Election, legally warned, was held on November 2, 2010, in the Deep River Library Community Room from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. John D. Townsend served as Head Moderator. A total of 2,005 votes were cast--1,875 at the polls, 127 by absentee ballot, and 3 by IVS. Registered voters on the November 2, 2010, list totaled 3,168. Voter turnout was 63%.
