Aplin passed for a season-high 396 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions and also caught a touchdown pass against the Hilltoppers – his fi rst career reception. With 2:39 remaining in the game, Aplin led the Red Wolves on what proved to be the game-winning drive when he completed 5-of-6 passes on a 9-play drive that ended with ASU in the end zone with 43 seconds remaining. The drive included a key 18-yard completion on third-and-17 to give ASU a fi rst down at the WKU 11. For the game, Aplin completed passes to eight diff erent receivers, topped 300 yards Off ensive passing for the third time in his career and 200 yards for the 15th. Defensive Player of the Week (September 26) Brett Baer (Louisiana-Lafayette, K/P) Cajuns kicker/punter Brett Baer turned in an epic performance for the second straight week, scoring 13 points in the Cajuns 37-34 victory…He connected on fi eld goals of 47 yards and 46 yards, before hitting the game- winning 26-yard fi eld goal as time expired...It’s the fi rst win the for the Cajuns in the fi nal 10 seconds of regula- tion since 2003…Baer also added four punts for 160 yards, an average of 40.0 per punt…He currently leads the Sun Belt Conference in scoring.
