CB The arch (Torana) probably constructed in 12th C. A. D., during the Solanki period must have formed a part of the entrance to a temple. It is built of red sand stone without mortar or any other cementing material. The basis of the pillars are wider, to give stability to the arch and their construction is purely trabeate, supporting an architrave and a pediment. The torana emerges from the capitals of the pillars and is purely decorative in character.
