RECAP - WP 0, CORBAN 3: exacted revenge for a previous loss to Warner Cascade Conference Pacific with a 3-0 win (25-19, 25-18, 25-22), in a Cascade Collegiate Conference match inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center. Corban got a match-high 11 kills from Bailey and a double- School Conf. Overall double from Shropshire with 10 kills and 17 digs, while libero Katherine Salness anchored Eastern Oregon 11-0 21-2 the Warriors’ defense with a match-high 21 digs. Miah Smith and Jenny Harman provided nine and five kills, respectively, while the setting duo of Payton Wilcox and Haley Meili Concordia 9-2 15-4 handed out a combined 31 assists. At the net, Harman registered a match-high five blocks College of Idaho 9-2 9-8 to go along with a match-high two service aces by Kelsey Wright. Warner Pacific was led Southern Oregon 7-3 10-7 offensively by Julia Toscano with nine kills, while Kristina Naff and Brittany Bevens added Northwest Christian 7-4 14-6 seven and six kills, respectively. Marchelle Bostic handed out a match-high 30 assists for the Knights, while Brandy Velasquez provided the defense with a team-high 16 digs for Warner Oregon Tech 4-6 11-13 Pacific. On the night, Corban hit .192 (41-17-125) versus Warner Pacific’s .095 (33-21-126). *Cascade Collegiate Conference game *Since 2000 % CCC/Frontier Challenge All times are Pacific and subject to change Home games in BOLD and played at CC Perry Gym RECAP - WP 2, NCU 3: For the fourth straight match, Northwest Christian and Warner Pacific went to five sets on Saturday afternoon and for the third consecutive meeting it was NCU on the winning end, 25-22, 15-25, 27-29, 25-17, 15-13. The win helped NCU remain in fifth place, keeping pace just behind the idle Southern Oregon in fourth. Warner Pacific once again came to play against the Beacons, using nine aces and an 11-4 advantage in blocks to keep the match close throughout the afternoon. Julia Toscano did the bulk of the heavy lifting, collecting 18 kills and 15 digs. Marchelle Bostic also registered a double-double as she posted a match-high 50 assists along with 14 digs and a match-high 3 service aces. She was also one of three Knights to finish the night with five blocks along with Kristina Naff and Mikaela Lisoski. Lisoski also put down 13 kills. Brandy Velasquez collected 27 digs and Kelsey Merritt added 14. For NCU, Fetters finished with a team-high 15 kills, adding 13 digs and two aces. Chandler Gabrio added 14 kills and two blocks as she hit .357 to lead all attackers. Alyssa Dorr ran an effective offense in picking up the victory, distributing at least 28 sets to five different players before posting a career-best 49 assists.

KNIGHTS AMONG CCC LEADERS: Julia Toscano - 6th in kills per set (3.07). Marchelle Bostic - 5th in assists per set (8.87), 2nd in aces per set (.45). Brandy Velasquez - 10th in digs per set 3.76).

RECORD BOOK: Several current Knights are in WPC’s career top-10 record book. Kristina Naff ranks #4 in total blocks (141), Devan Belshe ranks #8 in kills (328), and Marchelle Bostic is now #3 in assists (1262) and will surpass Tara Andrews (1276) at #2 before the season is finished. Bostic also climbed into the top 10 in service aces. She has moved to the #6 spot with 68.

INJURY REPORT: Devan Belshe received word of extensive damage to her knee and is now out for the season. Allahna Hartwick is out for the season after breaking her leg in the match vs. Saint Martin’s.

ABOUT THE COACH: Nels Norquist will begin his second as head coach of the Knights in 2013. In his first season at the helm, the program experienced a complete turnaround in competitiveness. After a 3-16 season in 2011, WPC surged to a 15-12 record in 2012 and 9-9 mark in Cascade Conference play during the 2012 campaign. Prior to Warner Pacific, Norquist was at Corban University, where he was the head coach for three seasons. His over- all record was 34 wins and 39 losses with the Warriors, including a 24-30 record in Cascade Conference play. He also spent one year as head coach at former CCC member Cascade College in 2008. He also has coached at Clackamas Community College, and continues to coach club volleyball with Adrenaline Volleyball Club.
