Beverly, a sophomore, was the offensive player-of-the-week against Weber while Carano, also a sophomore, has completed 11 of 18 passes llli for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He has also run for 76 net yards and two touchdowns. Cole, a freshman who was the L.A . City player-of-the year for Gardena High last year, has run for 141 yards on WITH only 17 carries for an 8.3 per carry average. Mike Haverty, offensive star against Northern Arizona, II has caught four passes for 55 yards and one touchdown of 21 yards .
