Manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, other outlets and consumers are informed that the manufacture or possession of unlicensed spirituous beverages NOT LISTED IN THIS NOTICE constitutes an offence under Section 15, Section 38 and Section 40 of the Excise Duty Act 2015 as read together with the Customs and Excise (Excisable Goods Management System) Regulations, 2013, and any goods in respect of the offence shall be seized and destroyed at the offenders’ cost. All enforcement agencies including Kenya Police Service, Kenya Bureau of Standards, Anti Counterfeit Agency and Kenya Revenue Authority are hereby advised to enforce against any manufacturers or brands not listed in this notice.
