He launched the Jamar Taylor Life Skills Acad- emy, which included four free vir- tual workshops for high school stu- dents, taking place in June and July of 2020. The workshops included resume building, interview prepara- tion with mock interviews, networking advice and more. Addition- ally, Taylor spoke about the financial aspects of being a student athlete and later a professional athlete, touching on subjects like scholarships and the importance of building credit. “One thing we talked about this year was, ‘How is our camp going to be better than last year?’” said Taylor. “Last year, we did a thing where we had NFL players come and they did a panel, so this year we want- ed to add a financial part of it.”
