Head Coach Joe Mihalich: Now in his fifth season at the helm of the TEAM LEADERS - PER GAME Hofstra Men’s Basketball program, Joe Mihalich has engineered a Wright-Foreman (22.0) – Points – Yeboah (13.6) strong resurgence of the Pride in four years. Mihalich has led Hofstra Gustys (10.9) – Rebounds – Saintel (4.7) to 59 wins over the past three seasons and the Pride has averaged Wright-Foreman (2.7) – Assists – McKenzie (2.7) more than 17 wins a season since Mihalich took over a program Pemberton (1.0) – Steals – Sturdivant (1.6) coming off a seven-win campaign. Mihalich guided the Pride to 15 wins Sabety (1.0) – Blocks – Cornish (0.7) during the 2016-17 season and saw four players earn honors from the Wright-Foreman (36.7) – Minutes – Yeboah (25.8) Colonial Athletic Association. The breakout year of Justin Wright- Foreman garnered him All-CAA Second Team accolades, while Family Coaching Tree: Hofstra Head Coach Joe Mihalich has spent freshman Eli Pemberton picked up CAA All-Rookie Team honors after his entire professional career in the coaching industry and his three a strong first season in a Hofstra uniform. COACHING CAREER STUDENT-Athletes: Seniors Rokas Gustys and Hunter Sabety have Years Title School certainly left their mark on the court but both are shining in the 1978-81 Assistant Coach DeMatha Catholic HS classroom as well. Sabety graduated from Hofstra in December 2016 1981-98 Assistant Coach La Salle University with a degree in psychology a and business minor while amassing a 1998-2013 Head Coach Niagara University stellar 3.41 grade point average. He has begun earning his MBA in 2013-present Head Coach Hofstra University finance and has a graduate GPA of 3.63. Gustys, who has a 3.16 GPA, will graduate in December with a degree in rhetorical studies. He will then begin a MA program in public relations.
