Mihalich has led Hofstra Gustys (11.3) – Rebounds – Murray (10.0) to 59 wins over the past three seasons and the Pride has averaged Buie (3.0) – Assists – Harper (6.0) more than 17 wins a season since Mihalich took over a program Wright-Foreman (0.5) – Steals – Harper (2.7) coming off a seven-win campaign. Mihalich guided the Pride to 15 wins Sabety (1.0) – Blocks – McLemore (3.7) during the 2016-17 season and saw four players earn honors from the Wright-Foreman (38.0) – Minutes – Brown (30.0) Colonial Athletic Association. The breakout year of Justin Wright- Foreman garnered him All-CAA Second Team accolades, while Family Coaching Tree: Hofstra Head Coach Joe Mihalich has spent freshman Eli Pemberton picked up CAA All-Rookie Team honors after his entire professional career in the coaching industry and his three a strong first season in a Hofstra uniform. Mihalich, who guided the sons have followed their father into the same profession. The 2015-16 team went 24-10, winning the University of Harford regular season CAA title and advancing to the National Invitation Tournament. It marked the most wins for the program since the 2005- Tony Mihalich 06 season and the regular season conference title was the program's Assistant Men’s and Women’s Track & Field / Cross Country Coach first since joining the CAA in 2001. In addition, the NIT appearance Iona College was the program's first since 2007. Mihalich came to Hofstra after leading the Purple Eagles since 1998.
