This is the regular newsletter from Warwick Rural East Safer Neighbourhood Team. Between 01/02/2019 and 28/02/2019 there have been 168 incidents reported to Police and recorded on the forces command and control system for the WRE area. Out of those incidents there were:

Warwick Rural East Community Forum

The next Warwick Rural East Community Forum shall be held on Wednesday 19-JUN-2019. Location TBC. The meeting will commence at 19:30hrs; doors open at 19:00hrs. Please arrive promptly so that the meeting can start on time.

Bubbenhall Community Litter Pick

Saturday 6 th April 2019, 10:00am – 12:00pm Bubbenhall Village Hall, Lower End, Bubbenhall Volunteers are required to take part in a community litter pick in Bubbenhall on Saturday 06-APR-2019. Volunteers will need to be at Bubbenhall Village Hall by 10:00am. You will need to bring with you, some gardening gloves and if possible, a high- vis top. Alternatively you can wear bright clothing. Litter-picks and refuse bags will be provided. Help keep Bubbenhall a clean and pleasant place to live. Join in with this community event and take pride in where you live.

Incidents

Below is a selection of incidents that have occurred on the Warwick Rural East area during February 2019.

Cubbington

Burglary: Between 12:00hrs Monday 04-FEB-2019 and 12:00hrs Thursday 14-FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) entered a secure outbuilding at a farm situated along Welsh Road, Cubbington. Offender(s) stole a quantity of tools and other items.

Baginton

Vehicle Crime: During the evening of Wednesday 06-FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) forced entry into three vehicles that were parked in a business car park situated along Mill Hill, Baginton. Items including electronic goods were stolen. The vehicles entered were a black Jaguar F-Pace (registration ending 67BVR), a grey Ford Fiesta (registration ending 67LRE) and a Mercedes C- Class (registration ending 68RMZ).

Vehicle Crime: Between 18:35hrs Saturday 09-FEB-2019 and 10:05hrs Sunday 10-FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) stole a white Mercedes Sprinter drop-side lorry with trailer. The vehicle was parked in a business car park situated along Road, Baginton. The vehicle was subsequently recovered without the trailer.

Vehicle Crime: During the evening of Tuesday 19-FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) forced entry into three vehicles that were parked in a business car park situated along Mill Hill, Baginton. Items were stolen. The vehicles entered were a blue BMW M3 (registration ending NMC), a grey Fiat 500 (registration ending 66VZX) and a grey Peugeot Expert van (registration ending 18GXH).

Hunningham

Wildlife Crime: At approximately 17:00hrs Wednesday 20-FEB-2019 a vehicle described as a white ‘04’ plate Subaru estate was seen parked next to a field in the Hunningham area. There was one male inside the vehicle. A second male was seen in the field with a dog described as a light coloured Saluki. The dog was seen to chase and stray beyond the field boundary. One of the males followed on foot, the other followed in the above mentioned vehicle. The dog was seen to chase a hare across the road. Unfortunately the dog was hit by an oncoming vehicle. The males placed the dog in the back of their vehicle and left the scene. Please read above article re Warwickshire Wildlife Watchers.

Offchurch

Burglary: Between 02:45hrs and 03:00hrs Monday 04-FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) forced entry into an outbuilding at a business site situated along Long Itchington Road, Offchurch. Offender(s) stole an orange Jacobsen ride- on mower and a number of vehicle batteries.

Radford Semele Vehicle Crime: Between 23:59hrs Tuesday 12-FEB-2019 and 06:00hrs Wednesday 13-FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) attempted to gain entry into a white Renault Trafic van that was parked at the roadside on Hatherell Road, Radford Semele. Offender(s) caused damage to the van.

Vehicle Crime: Between 18:00hrs Friday 22-FEB-2019 and 10:00hrs Saturday 23-FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) entered a white Peugeot Partner van (registration ending 13DWA) that was parked at the roadside in Semele Close, Radford Semele. Offender(s) stole power tools.

Stoneleigh

Vehicle Crime: Sometime during Tuesday 12-FEB-2019 and Wednesday 13- FEB-2019 unknown offender(s) entered a silver Ford Transit van (registration ending 62YST) that was parked at the roadside on Vicarage Road, Stoneleigh. Offender(s) stole a SatNav.

Warwick University

Theft: Towards the end of February 2019 unknown offender(s) stole three secure pedal cycles that were parked outside a campus building on Scarman Road. The three pedal cycles stolen were a black Carrera Cross Fire, a dark grey Trek hybrid and a white Canyon Nerve 7. Register your pedal cycle(s) on https://www.bikeregister.com/
