Our new books include Trucks in the 1980s: The Photos of David Wakefield by Nick Ireland - which captures a bygone age of trucking. In November, we publish The Farming Joke Book, by John Terry - with a wealth of agricultural humour and one liners to make you laugh out loud. There are also plenty of new DVDs to add to your Christmas list including The Farming Year Europe-Parts One and Two from Tractor Barn Productions and A Year Farming with Deere - Parts One and Two by Chris Lockwood. We have had a wonderful year here at Old Pond. In June we attended the Classic Vintage and Commercial Show at which we launched Lorries of Arabia, the author Robert Hackford delighted customers by signing copies on the stand. In July we were in Birmingham at the Livestock event, where we showcased How to Become a First-Generation Farmer by John Terry. Our travels are not complete yet as we still have the Spalding Model Tractor Show in October and Newark Vintage Tractor Show in November with our special show discounts.
