Un tifoso juventino si distingue perché quello che esercita nei confronti della sua squadra non è solamente tifo, è anche rispetto, è anche orgoglio, è anche modestia, è anche umiltà, è soprattutto amore, è suggestione, commozione, rabbia, è fede. Fare il tifo per la Juventus è rendersi conto che la Juventus non è solamente una squadra di calcio; non susciterebbe forti emozioni se così fosse; la Juventus è di più. Rappresenta un fenomeno sociologico nato negli anni trenta; gli anni in cui avveniva il decollo del calcio come sport per tutti; gli anni in cui cominciava la passione nazionale per questo sport, e con essa nasceva il tifo. In quegli anni le partite cominciarono a far parte delle abitudini degli italiani, che si affacciavano sempre più numerosi negli stadi riempiendoli. Inoltre, sempre in quel periodo, cominciava a diffondersi la radio, e con essa il calcio entrava in tutte le case, o quasi, degli italiani. La Juventus divenne ben presto popolare, e metà della popolazione che amava il calcio diventò tifosa juventina. -
