Mercy Jenni Grzebin Head Coach A native of Oxford, Ohio, Grzebin was a standout right-side hitter for the Xavier Muske- teers as a collegian and was named to the Atlantic 10 All Tournament Team in both her junior and senior seasons. Also a solid back line player, Grzebin was a team captain for Xavier during the 2007 season, which saw the Musketeers advance to the NCAA Cham- pionship Tournament.

Following her graduation, Grzebin served a year as an assistant coach at the University of Toledo, where she worked in all phases of coaching including recruiting, academic advis- ing, player skill development, scouting and recruiting.

In 2009, she accepted a similar role with the University of Buffalo, where she served through the fall of 2012. In her four seasons at Buffalo, Grezbin served as recruiting co- ordinator and helped coach the Bulls to the first two Mid-American Conference Tourna- ment quarterfinal appearances in school history. During her time in Buffalo, the Bulls had signature victories over high-major programs such as Boston College (ACC), St. John’s (Big East), Seton Hall (Big East) and Syracuse (Big East)

In addition to basketball, Knights Hall has hosted literally hundreds of other events including graduations, lectures and concerts. It also was the site of the Division II Women’s Volleyball “Elite 8” in 2010. Other guests of Knights Hall include Mother Teresa, the Grateful Dead, Jimmy Buffett, and Maroon 5 among others. In 2007, Knights Hall was featured on ESPN as it hosted the McDonald’s High School All-American Slam Dunk Contest, which was won by Blake Griffin.

Knights Field Bellarmine’s baseball and softball teams each have a home at Knights Field. Both diamonds are natural grass and are located on campus. The baseball field was built in 1954 and has been renovated several times. It now features an elevated press box overlooking home plate as well as covered dugouts, bullpens, a batting cage and a large electronic scoreboard in right field. The field dimensions are 360 feet down the left field line (where the fence is now 20-feet hight), 385 feet to dead center, and 340 feet down the right-field line.

The softball field had a complete renovation in the spring of 2012 and was the site of the NCAA DII Softball National Championship that same year.
