PT | O.co Coliseum OAKLAND RAIDERS (1-2) vs. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (2-1) GAME PREVIEW THE SETTING The Oakland Raiders will wrap up their preseason slate this week Date: Thursday, August 28 as they return home to face the defending Super Bowl champion Seat- Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. PT tle Seahawks on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7:00 p.m. PT. This marks the ninth Site: O.co Coliseum (1966) consecutive season that the Raiders will face the Seahawks in their final Capacity/surface: 56,057/Overseeded Bermuda preseason contest, and first time since 2010 that Oakland has hosted Regular Season: Raiders lead, 28-23 that final game. The Raiders enter Thursday’s contest after falling to the Postseason: Series tied, 1-1 Packers in Green Bay, while the Seahawks defeated the Chicago Bears at home. Preseason: Seahawks lead, 9-3 Oakland traveled to Lambeau field for their third preseason game last week, falling at the hands of the Packers, 21-31. The Raiders were led by a strong effort by the first-team defense early in the contest, as they forced the Packers into two straight three-and-out drives and three straight punts in the first quarter. Oakland got out of the gate quickly on offense asRB Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for a 40-yard touchdown on the Raiders’ first possession. LB Khalil Mack had five tackles and an interception on defense, and DE LaMarr Woodley posted his first sack in Silver and Black. The Seahawks put together an impressive performance last week at home against the Bears, winning by a final of 34-6.QB Russell Wilson led the way for the Seahawks’ offense, throwing for 202 yards on 15-of- 20 passing and two touchdowns for a quarterback rating of 140.0. The two teams will turn their attention to the regular season after Thursday’s game. Seattle will get ready for their home opener on Thurs- day, Sept. 4 against the Green Bay Packers.
