CORRECTIONS FROM YESTERDAY: • It was reported that coached ABC’s Robin Roberts at Pass Christian High School. He actually coached her in a camp, but not in high school. • Three of the four winningest coaches in history are at this Final Four. ’s Pat Summit is No. 1 with a record of 982 -182 for .84364 percent. Connecticut’s is 657-122 for .84338 percent. Tara VanDerveer of Stanford is fourth with 724-187 for .7947 percent.

More Notes: • Of the 26 NCAA champions, five teams have won the championship with exactly three losses, tied with one-loss and two-loss teams for the most championships. Unbeaten and four-loss teams have each won the tournament four times. Teams with five, six and 10 losses have each claimed one championship. • This year, Stanford entered the Final Four with three losses, Louisiana State entered with five losses, Connecticut entered with one loss and Tennessee had two losses. • Final Four teams entered the weekend with 135 combined wins, the most combined wins in the history of the event. • 2008 is the third year that all four teams enter the Final Four with 30 or more wins (2005, 2006). • The combined winning percentage for 2008 Final Four teams was .925, the fourth-best combined winning percentage entering the Final Four. • LSU and Tennessee in the 2008 Women's Final Four marks the 14th time two teams (or more in 2006) from the same conference advanced to the same Women's Final Four. • The Wade/State Farm Player of the Year is Candice Wiggins of Stanford. Of the 27 NCAA Final Fours, the Player of the Year has appeared in 17 of them. This is the fourth straight time, and the sixth time in the past seven years the Wade Trophy player of the year has appeared in the women’s Final Four (the exception was of Duke in 2004).

• Entering tonight’s semifinals ESPN has documented double-digit ratings increases in all rounds of the 2008 Women’s NCAA Tournament. Overall ESPN’s viewership is up 43 percent among households (971,000 vs. 678,000).

There are a record three former Olympic coaches participating in the 2008 Women’s Final Four (, 1984; Tara VanDerveer, 1996; Van Chancellor, 2004). Prior to this year, the most Olympic coaches directing teams in the Final Four was two. NCAA FINAL FOUR RECORDS • 18 points by LSU ties for fourth fewest points in a half in an NCAA Final Four game (record is 15 by LSU vs. Duke, national semifinal first half, 4/2/06). LSU now holds three of the top five spot in Final Four history for the fewest points scored in a half, with each of those occurring in the last three years. • The 40 combined points by both teams in the first half is the third fewest in a single half in Final Four history (38- Rutgers (22) vs. LSU (16), SF, 2nd half, 4/1/07; 39-Duke (22) vs. Purdue (17), Championship Game, 1st half, 3/28/99) • No program in NCAA Women’s Tournament history has ever won the national championship with a coach in their first season at that school. • The 93 points was the fewest combined points scored in a Final Four game, breaking the 2007 record when Rutgers beat LSU, 59-35 • Tonight was the fifth one-point game in Final Four history and the first since 1997 (Old Dominion d. Stanford, 83-82 in overtime) • The 93 total combined points is the fewest scored in a Final Four, passing the 94 scored by Rutgers (59) vs. LSU (35) in the 2007 semifinal game.
