July 12-15, 2012 Dear Friends, Welcome to New York City for The 2012 PULSE On Tour Finale Event! Since 2003, our number one goal has been to prepare each educator and performer (more than 200,000 to date) for a one-of-a-kind journey: whether that is becoming a better dancer or moving from the classroom to a career. Though other dance conventions focus solely on competition, we have thrived and succeeded by offering something different: opportunity. Instead of trophies, our attendees win scholarships and establish meaningful industry connections. The PULSE has become the fast track for dancers: helping them transition from classes to agent meetings...and then on to stage, film, and TV. From the moment you step into one of our conventions, you are surrounded by the greatest single collection of working pros in the industry. They are award winners and leaders in the field, who are exclusively committed to helping dancers move from rehearsal to real life. With each success story, our commitment to first-rate dance training only grows stronger. This year brings more opportunities to a greater body of dancers as we add new international cities in Mexico, Canada, The United Kingdom, and Japan to our highly anticipated domestic lineup for the upcoming season. We also continue to expand Camp Pulse, with new faculty traveling to 10 cities in the 2012-2013 season. This tour is specifically designed for dancers ages 8-13, with the goal to empower the future of dance! As Camp Pulse grows, so does our desire to provide new opportunities through new events. We are honored to present the So You Think You Can Dance Experience, the first and only dance convention of SYTYCD, and now a next-level dance competition, Open Call — a chance for competitors to find unique pathways to the professional dance world! Thank you for joining us for this amazing weekend! From the entire PULSE Family: we are honored that you have chosen to let us be a part of your family this summer. We look forward to continuing to grow together!
