Method: This qualitative paper made use of a phenomenological research design to understand the lived experiences and perceptions of the participants, specifically Filipino night shift workers, relative to the central question: “How do night shift employees deal with their professional growth; financial problems; and personal problems?”Data were gathered through a twenty- five semi-structured interview, and were analyzed using an inductive approach in theme development. Findings: Findings have shown the advantages and disadvantages of being a night shift worker in terms of professional growth; which implies the adjustments done by night shift workers to mainly cater to the needs of their families.
