Boone has coached numerous athletes who have competed inde- pendently on the national and international stage, including such meets as the CARIFTA Games, U.S. Olympic Trials - Track & Field, NACAC Track & Field Championships, Pan American Athletics Championships and IAAF World Championships. In 2011, she also served as a coach for the U.S. Pan Am Junior team in Miramar, Fla. Now at Texas State, Boone is in her third season with the Bobcat track and field program after setting the bar high for Texas State in 2013, just her second season at the helm. Boone led Texas State to the athletic program’s only conference championships in the program’s only season as part of the Western Athletic Conference, claiming three total championships for the track and field teams.
