The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck features performance-modified 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder cast iron engine blocks, bumper-to-bumper racing chassis and protective roll cage assembly constructed by ARCA-approved manufacturers, and template stock appearance bodies. The engine block must correspond to manufacturer body style, with body configurations approved for the Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, Dodge Dakota and Toyota Tacoma. The ARCA truck is a pure-bred racing machine with “made for racing” flavor throughout its design, including a quick-change rear-end, coil-over shock suspension, dry-sump oiling system and a full line of safety equipment. Cleveland-based Lincoln Electric has been the title sponsor of the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series since the series’ inception in 1999. Lincoln Electric is the world leader in the design, development and manufacturing of arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, plasma and oxy fuel cutting equipment. Lincoln has operations, alliances and joint ventures in 18 countries and a worldwide network of distributors and sales offices that serve more than 160 countries. The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series Ultimate Truck Challenge The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series introduced the Ultimate Truck Challenge in 2005. At each race event, the fast qualifier determines the number of drivers to be inverted for the start of the race by rolling a pair of oversized dice. The total that comes up from the dice roll determines the invert. The fast qualifier will then be offered the Ultimate Truck Challenge…A chance to earn an extra $500 cash if he or she elects to start from the rear of the field, and can win the event. 2009 ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series Season Stats 2009 Pole and Race Winners TRACK WINNER POLE WINNER POLE SPEED Toledo Speedway Paul Hahn/Chevrolet None N/A Flat Rock Speedway Danny Jackson/Chevrolet Paul Hahn 12.548 seconds Mansfield Motorsports Park Danny Jackson/Chevrolet Paul Hahn 17.117 seconds *NTR Sauble Speedway Steve Christman/Chevrolet Matt Hall 15.529 seconds Iowa Speedway Paul Hahn/Chevrolet Paul Hahn 25.599 seconds Winchester Speedway The Phantom/Chevrolet Danny Jackson 17.008 seconds Peterborough Speedway Event Rained Out Lake Erie Speedway Salem Speedway 2009 Top 5 Finishers TRACK WINNER SECOND THIRD FOURTH FIFTH Toledo Speedway Paul Hahn Nick Gullatta Danny Jackson Mike Young Norm Weaver Flat Rock Speedway Danny Jackson Paul Hahn Nick Gullatta TJ Stineman Brian Norton Mansfield Motorsports Park Danny Jackson Steve Christman TJ Stineman Paul Hahn Rob Jones Sauble Speedway Steve Christman Paul Hahn Mike Young Bill Withers Danny Jackson Iowa Speedway Paul Hahn Nick Gullatta Rob Jones Shawn Szep Ash Hawkins Winchester Speedway The Phantom Nick Gullatta Tully Esterline Paul Hahn Mike Young Peterborough Speedway Event Rained Out Lake Erie Speedway Salem Speedway 2009 Quick Season Recap TRACK WINNER POINTS LEADER POINTS LEAD Toledo Speedway Paul Hahn Paul Hahn 15 Flat Rock Speedway Danny Jackson Paul Hahn 55 Mansfield Motorsports Park Danny Jackson Paul Hahn 50 Sauble Speedway Steve Christman Paul Hahn 65 Iowa Speedway Paul Hahn Paul Hahn 185 Winchester Speedway The Phantom Paul Hahn 200 Peterborough Speedway Event Rained Out Lake Erie Speedway Salem Speedway ALWTS Track Records TRACK DATE POLE WINNER POLE TIME/SPEED Toledo Speedway 19-May-07 Steve Cronenwett 17.138/105.030 mph Flat Rock Speedway 3-Jul-99 Aaron Hulings 12.165/73.983 mph Mansfield Motorsports Park 6-24009 Paul Hahn 17.117/105.15 mph Sauble Speedway 21-Jun-08 Nick Gullatta 15.075/59.701 Iowa Speedway 20-Jul-08 Paul Hahn 25.533/123.370 mph Winchester Speedway 19-Jul-09 Dannyy Jackson 17.008/105.833 mph Peterborough Speedway N/A N/A N/A Lake Erie Speedway 27-May-05 Brett Rowe 15.689/86.048 mph Salem Speedway 11-Sep-99 Aaron Hulings 18.477/108.134 mph 2009 ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series Driver Finishes Event Rained Out DRIVER TOLEDO FLAT ROCK MANSFIELD SAUBLE IOWA WINCHESTER PETERBOROUGH LAKE ERIE SALEM Adams, Tommy 21 15 18 17 Arpin, Steve 15 Bischoff, Duane 12 11 Burns, Richard 26 19 Christman, Steve 22 10 2 1 18 8 Esterline, Tully 2 8 10 3 Gearhart, Todd 25 12 16 14 Gullatta, Nick 10 3 20 2 2 Hahn, Paul 1 2 4 2 1 4 Hall, Matt 11 Hawkins, Ash 814125 7 Jackson, Danny 15 1 1 5 20 18 Jones, Rob 11 13 5 7 3 12 Jones, Terry 19 Kirsch, Kenny 4 DNS 9 8 17 15 Meyers, Craig 23 16 17 12 20 Moyer, Carl 6 Norton, Brian 75 6 6 Phantom, the 17 11 21 9 9 1 Redmond, Eric 13 15 Schafer, Tim 9 8 13 10 7 16 Smith, Jeff 24 18 13 Stineman, TJ 64 3 Szep, Shawn 14 14 4 Trepkowski, Nathan 20 7 11 6 16 10 Turner, Brad 20 Vander Hoff, Leo 16 13 Vander Hoff, Paul 27 19 22 19 Weaver, Norm 18 Wells, Ron 19 17 23 11 Withers, Bill 5 9 10 4 8 9 Young, Mike 3 6 7 3 14 5 Yunker, Brad DNS ARCA Technical Elements ARCA REMAX SERIES ARCA LINCOLN WELDERS TRUCK SERIES Eligible Models Chevrolet Monte Carlo Chevrolet S-10 Dodge Charger Chevrolet Colorado Ford Fusion Ford Ranger Ford Taurus Dodge Dakota Toyota Camry Toyota Tacoma Years 2005-2009 2004-2009 Weight 3400 lbs w/o driver 2200 lbs including driver Engine Cast iron 358 cubic inch (max.) • Sioux Chief Showdown Preview: Sioux Chief Powerpex 200 at Memphis Int’L Raceway
Sioux Chief Showdown Preview: Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 at Memphis Int’l Raceway Over six months after the Sioux Chief Showdown kicked off with the debut of the ARCA Menards Series at Phoenix Raceway, the ten‐race chase is set to conclude at Memphis International Raceway with the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200. The inaugural champion under the Showdown banner will be crowned when the checkered flag waves on Saturday evening, closing out the first AMS race at Memphis since 2001. Formerly known as the Sioux Chief Short Track Challenge, an expanded partnership with Sioux Chief will increase the event purse and point fund significantly, as well as add prestige and a variety of venues to the in‐season championship. New guidelines and common rule packages are aimed at drawing AMSE and AMSW teams and drivers as well, having previously been run as distinct separate entities from the ARCA Menards Series. Christian Eckes, now a challenger for rookie of the year honors in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, won both the Sioux Chief Short Track Challenge and the ARCA Menards Series overall championship in 2019, clinching both titles in the final race of each championship. In the penultimate Sioux Chief Showdown race at Bristol, Sam Mayer took his fifth ARCA Menards Series win of 2020 and his fourth in a Showdown event just hours after winning his first‐ever NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race. Mayer started the Showdown in a deep hole when his car overheated in the first race at Phoenix, leaving him 20th at the finish with a lot of ground to make up over the next nine races.

  • Sioux Chief Showdown Preview: Bush's Beans 200 at Bristol Motor
Sioux Chief Showdown Preview: Bush’s Beans 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway The penultimate race on the 2020 Sioux Chief Showdown calendar has arrived as the ARCA Menards Series returns to Bristol for the first time in over 50 years. The Bush’s Beans 200 has been a fixture on the schedule of what is now known as the ARCA Menards Series East in recent years, and the race will count for points towards both series’ championships. The tight race at the top of the Showdown standings means that the battle for the prestigious in-season championship will likely go down to the wire in next week’s Showdown finale, the Sioux Chief PowerPex 200 at Memphis International Raceway. The Sioux Chief Showdown will bring together the best of the best from the ARCA Menards Series, the ARCA Menards Series East and ARCA Menards Series West (formerly known as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series). These ten events offer drivers who may not be able or eligible to run the full 20-race ARCA Menards Series schedule the opportunity to run for a title. Combined with the overall ARCA Menards Series crown as well as the ARCA Menards East and ARCA Menards West championships, drivers will have four unique titles to compete for in 2020. Formerly known as the Sioux Chief Short Track Challenge, an expanded partnership with Sioux Chief will increase the event purse and point fund significantly, as well as add prestige and a variety of venues to the in-season championship. New guidelines and common rule packages are aimed at drawing in teams and drivers from both the ARCA East and ARCA West series as well, which were previously run as distinct separate entities from the ARCA Menards Series.

IEG SPONSORSHIP REPORT October 3, 2011 800/834-4850 | www.IEGSR.com WHO DOES WHAT Who Does What: Home Improvement Retailers Home improvement chains continue to use sponsorship as a key element of their marketing mix; NASCAR remains the primary battleground. Like many other categories, home improvement retailers have had their ups and downs over the past few years. But while The Home Depot, Inc. and Lowe’s Cos have dropped a handful of high-profile ties in the recent past, they and other DIY chains continue to use sponsorship as a key element in their marketing mix. As in years past, motorsports and soccer remain high on their priority list. Among new deals, Lowe’s in March kicked off a multiyear title Home Improvement Retailer Sponsorships of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Las Vegas Motor By Number Of Deals Speedway on behalf of its Kobalt tool line. The company also Government 2% is negotiating a separate tie with track owner Int’l Speedway Associations 2% Corp. that would replace Home Depot beginning with the 2012 Entertainment 8% season, sources said. Festivals 9% In the soccer space, Home Depot this year came on board as the official home improvement sponsor of the CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament. Sports 61% Causes 18% Home improvement retailers largely use sponsorship to accomplish three primary marketing objectives: Gain platforms for retail promotions; reach niche audiences and demonstrate corporate citizenship. © 2011, IEG, LLC.
