An emergency plan will be made at the same time as you complete the application form. This will detail who else may be able to provide care (i.e. a family member or friend), what might need to be put in place to support the person you care for and anything else that you feel is important.
Once your emergency plan has been made, you will receive a Carers Emergency Card to put in your purse or wallet which will identify you as a carer. The card contains a unique number linked to your plan
