Saint Ann School has a much needed break and will return for in-person learning on April 12th. Plans are underway for our clothing drive on Sunday, April 25th. All bags will be collected from 9 AM – 2 PM on the corner of Jefferson and Alter in the preschool parking lot. Our upper grade students will help you to unload. All you have to do is drive up!! The clothing drive has been so successful for our school so please clean out those closets and empty those drawers to help us.

Don’t forget to apply for Saint Ann School for the coming year. Applications are being accepted at:

EASTER BREAD (6 single servings) Let all ingredients sit about 15 minutes, add 1 cup milk (scalded) 1/4 cup warm water 2 eggs beaten to flour ‐ mix well 1/3 cup buer 1 package yeast 1/2 cup sugar (melted in milk) 1 tsp. sugar pinch salt 3 3/4 cups flour

- DIRECTIONS -

Knead on floured surface, 10 minutes (add more flour if needed). Rub dough ball with vegetable oil & place in oiled bowl. Cover and put in warm place to rise, 1 hour or double in size. Punch dough and cut into 6 equal parts (do not flour surface). Roll each piece into a strip about 15‐18” long, place raw, colored egg* in center, bring ends together and twist. Place on flat baking tray. Brush with egg white and dust with colored sprinkles or sugar. Cover and let rise, bake at 350° 20‐25 minutes unl golden brown.

*Colored eggs ‐ use food coloring dye to color 6 raw in‐the‐shell eggs. 1 cup warm water, 1 tbsp. white vinegar, 5‐6 drops food color. Egg will cook while bread bakes.
