Dec. 22, 2018, at the age of 72 years. A graduate of University of Indiana, Runyan was best known for his love of British cars beginning with a Triumph TR-3A. In 1978, it was Runyan’s need to restore that first sports car that led to the founding of The Roadster Factory in Indianapolis, later moving to Armagh, Pennsylvania. His love of British culture also led to Runyan’s establishment of The Coventry Inn, a replica of a British pub which was open for 25 years in downtown Indianapolis before closing in September, 2018, due to a lack of employees.
