INTRODUCTION OF BILLS The following bill was introduced: H. B. No. 327-Representative Burkley. Cosponsors: Representatives Boose, Brenner, Hayes, Roegner, Stebelton, Wachtmann.

To enact sections 6103.18 and 6117.35 of the Revised Code to require interest income from county water and sewer district assessments and interest on assessments to be used only for water and sewer district purposes and to prohibit counties from depositing such interest income in the county general fund.

Said bill was considered the first time.

REPORTS OF STANDING AND SELECT COMMITTEES AND BILLS FOR SECOND CONSIDERATION Representative Fedor submitted the following report: The standing committee on Education to which was referred H. B. No. 216-Representative Patterson, et al., having had the same under consideration, reports it back with the following amendments and recommends its passage when so amended. RE: VOLUNTARY SCHOOL CONSOLIDATION-FORGIVE DEBT TO SOLVENCY ASSISTANCE FUND Representative Stebelton moved to amend the title as follows: Add the names: "Bishoff, Driehaus." Representative Patterson moved to amend as follows: In line 126, delete " receiving" and insert " transferring" The motion was agreed to and the bill so amended. Representative Patterson moved to amend as follows: Between lines 142 and 143, insert: " (D) The director of budget and management may transfer any available moneys from the general revenue fund, appropriated for operating payments to HOUSE JOURNAL, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2013 1307 schools, into the solvency assistance fund to replace the amount owed by a transferring school district forgone under division (A) of this section." The motion was agreed to and the bill so amended.
