**MEDIA ALERT** ART PRODUCTION FUND’s UPBEAT BENEFIT Honoring Jeff Koons and Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn with generous support by Dom Perignon WHO: Art Production Fund Executive Director Casey Fremont, Director of Operations Kathleen Lynch, and Co- Founders Doreen Remen & Yvonne Force Villareal host the UPBEAT BENEFIT honoring artist Jeff Koons and Salon 94’s Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn. Notable attendees in addition to the hosts and honorees will include: Co-Chairs Aby Rosen & Samantha Boardman, Larry Gagosian, Laurie Simmons, Maria & Bill Bell, Marilyn Minter, Dorothy Lichtenstein, Sarah Arison, June Ambrose, the MC of the evening, Cindy Sherman, Stacey Bendet, Fabiola Beracasa, Mark Fletcher and Tobias Meyer, Inez and Vinoodh, Prosper and Martine Assouline, Tommy Hilfiger, Dalia Oberlander, Audrey Gelman, artists John Currin and Rachel Feinstein, Derrick Adams, Zoe Buckman, Wangechi Mutu, Ugo Rondinone and John Giorno, Fairfax Dorn and Marc Glimcher, Maria Giulia Maramotti, Athena Calderone, Sarah Hoover, Zani Gugelmann, David Maupin and Stefano Tonchi, etc. Dress code is Off Beat. WHAT: The evening takes inspiration from the Beat Generation and Jeff Koons’ playful aesthetic, and is set in The Seagram Building restaurant, the iconic New York City landmark designed by Philip Johnson that has now been restored by Major Food Group. The UPBEAT BENEFIT will feature: guest portraits by Laurie Simmons, temporary tattoos by Nina Chanel Abney, Little Cloud centerpieces by FriendsWithYou, music by Mia Moretti, and a live jazz performance by the Bruce Harris Quartet. Dom Pérignon will pour its Vintage from 2006, made from only the best grapes during the most exceptional years, and from a single year’s harvest only. WHEN: Monday, March 12 with cocktails at 6:30p.m. followed by a seated dinner by Major Food Group’s Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick at 8p.m. WHERE: The Grill and Pool Rooms at the Seagram Building, 99 East 52nd Street WHY: All proceeds from the evening will support Art Production Fund’s public commissions that make artists’ visions come to life.
