NASW PACE Committee - 2018 Endorsements

The NASW Indiana PACE committee has spent time this summer reviewing voting records for incumbent candidates, reviewing information on several non-incumbents, and discussing individual candidate positions on topics that are important to NASW, our members and the clients our members serve.

To be considered for endorsement an incumbent had to achieve at least a 77% standard of voting for House members and 75% for Senate members on key bills. Endorsed legislators voted at or above the percentage rate for key bills that NASW-IN supported and against bills that NASW-IN opposed. It is the Committee’s belief that these legislators will continue to support the values and ethics that we as social workers hold dear. Through this process the committee has agreed to endorse the incumbent candidates listed below as well as endorsing one non-incumbent who was endorsed in 2014. The Committee will continue to identify candidates in key races for other possible endorsements.
