Extreme E Live Sunday, 12noon 4th April ITV This new series brings electric racing to some of the most remote corners of the planet to highlight the climate change challenges faced by different ecosystems. The opening round takes place in AlUla in Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest continuous sand desert. Drivers including Jenson Button, Sebastien Loeb and Jamie Chadwick will be pushed to their limit as their all-electric SUVs take on some extreme conditions. Unsurprisingly, considering we are in Midsomer, a murder isn’t far away... After a local photographer wins an urban myth competition with his creation of The Wolf Hunter, it unexpectedly gains a cult following. However, when a man is killed, Barnaby and Winter must investigate if this myth has become murderous reality. Agatha & Poirot: Partners in Crime Monday, 9pm 5th April ITV A special one-off in which actor Richard E Grant marks the 100th anniversary of Agatha Christie’s Belgian super sleuth Hercule Poirot making his first appearance. Richard explores the life of the author, looking at events that inspired her plots, characters and locations. Plus, he examines the relationship between Christie and her longest literary life companion, with the help of some famous celebrity fans. Weekly highlights For the Love of Britain Tuesday, 7.30pm 6th April ITV Julie Walters narrates as a number of her famous friends explore more of the weird and wonderful parts of the UK. Britain’s Tiger Kings - On the Trail with Ross Kemp Tuesday, 9pm 6th April ITV This two-part documentary series features Ross Kemp on the trail of Britain’s very own tiger and lion kings - those who keep dangerous wild animals at home. In the second part of this documentary, Ross meets a man who keeps 46 snakes in his three-bedroom terraced house and a crocodile owner with an unusual wish for when he dies. As his new adventure begins, Paul helps a shy rottweiler who has trouble bonding with people, is left gobsmacked when a family of rabbits turns up at the doors of Battersea, and falls head-over-heels in love with a spaniel cross pup with a serious mite problem. The Day Will and Kate Got Married Wednesday, 9pm 7th April ITV Documentary which celebrates the wedding day of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who tied the knot at Westminster Abbey on April 29th, 2011. Almost 10 years on, The Day Will and Kate Got Married celebrates that day through the memories of family, friends and insiders who played a part in it - casting an eye over the couple’s courtship and reliving the ritual and pageantry of the day.
