MISS TEXAS TEEN USA, DANIELLE DOTY, CROWNED TH MISS TEEN USA 2011 ON JULY 16 Paradise Island, Bahamas – July 18, 2011 –Miss Texas Teen USA, Danielle Doty, was crowned Miss Teen USA 2011 this past Saturday at the beautiful Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas on July 16, 2011. The 18-year-old winner is from Harlingen, Texas. The MISS TEEN USA® pageant was streamed online to a worldwide audience of over 100,000 viewers at www.missteenusa.com and www.seventeen.com. Las Vegas-based radio and television personality, Chet Buchanan and Miss Teen USA 2005 and sports reporter for "Fox8 News," Allie LaForce, hosted this year’s pageant. Reigning Miss Kentucky USA, Kia Hampton, performed her original song written by R&B artist Ne-Yo, Better Be Ready. MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA, CASSIDY MARIE WOLF CROWNED MISS TEEN USA 2013 AT ATLANTIS, PARADISE ISLAND IN THE BAHAMAS New York, NY – August 12, 2013 – Cassidy Marie Wolf was crowned Miss Teen USA 2013 this past Saturday at the beautiful Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas on August 10, 2013. The 19-year-old winner is from Temecula, California. The MISS TEEN USA® Competition was streamed online at www.missteenusa.com. Hosting this year’s pageant was television personality and Miss Teen USA 2003 Tami Farrell and Australian television host Karl Schmid. The presentation show, which took place Friday, August 9th, was hosted by Logan West, Miss Teen USA 2012 and Nick Teplitz, writer and editor of TheFumble.com. This year’s distinguished panel of judges included: Alfred “Butch” Beard, NBA and Collegiate All-American player and coach; Chuck LaBella, Emmy Award-nominated producer and VP of Talent Development for NBC; Fred Nelson, President/Executive Producer of People’s Choice Awards; Denise Garrido, motivational speaker; and Lisa Carvalho, VP of Public Relations for Maybelline New York, Garnier and essie divisions of beauty giant L’Oreal USA. City of Mcdonough Has Hosted This Event All 37Years of Its Existence
Volume: Seven · Issue Five When Information Matters May, 2014 37th Annual The McDonough Lions Geranium Festival Club is the force behind this major one‐day fesval full of mulple vendors, entertainment, food, and a play area for the children. The Square was resplendent with tents covering the wares of the parcipang vendors and a massive crowd of fesval goers strolling from tent‐to‐tent checking McDonough out the merchandise, making their various purchases, enjoying a culinary treat, Matters such as the ever popular Southern delicacy, tomato sandwiches, or a scrumpous strawberry shortcake with both ice cream and whipped cream on top of fresh strawberries, and everyone totally enjoying the 3rd Saturday in May—Geranium Fesval day every year. The City of McDonough has hosted this event all 37years of its existence. Why is it held in McDonough, or a beer queson, why called the Geranium Fesval? In This Issue: Maybe because McDonough is ‘The Geranium City!” What a perfect day it turned out to be with the temperature in the 70’s, the sun dancing around the clouds, and Page…………..1 just a light, short rain moving in and out very quickly. It was also another spectacu‐ lar fesval event in McDonough. Now, the Geranium Fesval is just a memory. But 2014 Geranium in one year, everyone will gather once again on the 3rd Saturday, this me in May, Fesval 2015, for the 38th annual Gerani‐ um Fesve. Don’t miss it!!
