Jennifer has been with the Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley (ESFV) for two years where she oversees fund development, public relations, and volunteer management. Jennifer has over ten years of professional experience, primarily in fund development. She graduated from (Appleton, Wis.) with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Previously, Jennifer was employed as director of development for the YWCA Green Bay – De Pere and the Fox Valley Symphony.

Joy has been with the Fox Cities Chamber since January of 1998. She also owns her own business with Rodan + Fields since September of 2012. Her prior experience includes marketing for the Bemis Company, Inc. and sales with Insignia Systems in , MN Along with working with leaders in the community, her role with the Leadership Fox Cities program also conducts a 7 month program for juniors in High School of which some of the ACA students have participated. Her daughter will be attending the ACA this fall as a sophomore.

Julia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in elementary education with a minor in mathematics and her master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She taught middle school mathematics in Campbellsport School District, West Boylston School District and Lake Geneva School District. She has substitute taught in the Sheboygan Area School District and the Appleton Area School District. Currently, she serves on the ACA Governing Board and Appleton North Booster Club Board.

Director, K-12 Partnerships - Fox Valley Technical College – Mary has been with FVTC for over 22 years, working in areas relating to Marketing, Recruitment, Distance Education and Learning Innovations, and it currently responsible for the overall direction for K-12 initiatives, including Articulated Programs, Youth Options, the KSCADE distance learning network, K-8 events and programs and coordination for all partnership activities with the 29 K-12 districts in FVTC's district. Mary received her Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College, and Bachelors of Science from Lakeland College.

Patrick Lee earned a BA teaching degree in English with a Writing minor in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. He taught English at Rio High School for four years. He received his MA in Educational Administration from Marian College of Fond Du Lac in 2001. He was an Associate Principal at Kaukauna High School from 2001-2006. He then became an Associate Principal at De Pere High School in the years 2006-2012. He is currently the Principal of the Appleton Career Academy and Associate Principal of Student Services at Appleton North.

Bachelor of Art: Studio Art Masters Degree: Curriculum and Instruction Renee Ulman has been an Art Educator for the past 15 years. For the past 10 years, she has taught art at Appleton North High School, mostly Drawing and Painting and Art Survey courses. Renee also taught art education courses and supervised student teachers, at her alma mater, Lawrence University, for the last three years. Renee is currently an Instructor and Coordinator in the Appleton Career Academy. She helped to develop the design curriculum of the ACA and works to integrate art and design into core areas particularly, science, history and com arts. She is part of a team of dynamic project based instructors who continue to develop innovative projects and strong community partnerships that offer students real-world learning experiences. Renee has 2 daughters and is married to Chad, an architect at Hoffman, LLC in Appleton. She and her family live in a 100 year old Victorian home that they continue to renovate in their spare time.

After working with at-risk youth, Lori joined the Appleton Area School District as a school counselor in 2000. Lori is one of the founding members of the Appleton Career Academy and has a dual role as counselor for Appleton North and the ACA.

Mary has a BS in Education from UW Oshkosh and an MA in Communications from Bowling Green University, Ohio. She taught 4 yrs in secondary education and 15 years in post- secondary education and has business experience as Human Resource Manager for 6 years. Most recently she was a youth employment program manager for 7 years. She has a passion for youth education, especially as it leads to career path preparation.

John is the Director of Marketing for the Construction Products Group at Miller Electric Mfg. Co. and has held technical and marketing related roles within the welding/manufacturing arena for the last 15 years. He received his MBA from Lakeland College and also holds an AAS in Weld Technology from Area Technical College. John is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Fox Cities and currently sits on the program’s steering committee. He is also a mentor in the Leadership Fox Cities Youth program and volunteers his time coaching a variety of youth sports.

Mary’s personal mission statement is to create environments in which people can learn, grow, and have fun while achieving their full potential. Undergraduate: B.A. in Managerial Accounting from UW-Stevens Point. Graduate Degrees: M.S. in Educational Leadership and M.S.E. in Community Counseling from UW-Oshkosh Since May, 2014, Mary has served as the Executive Director of the Foundation and Community Relations for Fox Valley Technical College. In that role, she works with individuals and organizations to create partnerships and secure resources that support the college and its students. She also works with Government Relations. Prior to FVTC, Mary spent over five years at ThedaCare, first as Executive Director of Behavioral Health, and then as System Vice President for Spine and Orthopedics. Before that, Mary held a variety of roles at Thrivent Financial, ending her service there as a Divisional Director of Fraternal and Marketing.

Tim has over fifteen years’ experience working in various sales and marketing roles within the healthcare industry. He is currently serving as the Regional Business Manager for ThromboGenics NV, where he is responsible for market access, provider relations, and payer relations. Previously, at Allergan USA, Tim served as the reimbursement manager for the State of Wisconsin with the primary role supporting twenty-two sales representatives in the neuroscience, urology, and retina spaces. During his tenure in healthcare, Tim is routinely asked to conduct training for newly hired employees and assist with the future marketing plans of each of the divisions he supports.

Tim grew up and was educated in Wisconsin and is proud of being a Badger alumnus. After graduation from the University of Wisconsin, Tim went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer. He is still serving today, his twenty-fourth year, in a reserve capacity and has tentatively scheduled his retirement date for February of 2017.

Tim’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Wisconsin, Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Webster University, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

Tim is married to Jennifer and they have three children: Emma (high school), Owen (elementary school), and Larson (elementary school) who keep him busy with their various athletic and musical extra-curricular activities.

Gregg resides in the city of Appleton with his wife Maureen, daughter Sophia and son Graham. He is currently employed by Airlines as the Corporate Safety Programs Manager and Director of the Emergency Operations Center leading programs responsible for operational risk management, crisis management, emergency response, corporate quality assurance and regulatory affairs. He has additional experience as a commercial office building complex owner and manager, executive residential and light commercial construction project manager, licensed real estate broker, commercial airline pilot and certified flight instructor.

Gregg has served in our community as a former volunteer president of the board of directors for a non-profit child learning and care center, team leader for a community project supporting the Center for Grieving Children, a non-profit youth resource within the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley as well as a volunteer for St Joseph’s Food Program.

Gregg is the current Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fox Cities Program. He is also a Junior Achievement of Wisconsin the Winnebago Region facilitator of the high school level Excellence Through Ethics and Career Success programs.

Gregg received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities Campus with an emphasis in both Management and Economics.

Debbie has a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and has worked for Humana Inc. since 2004. Currently, she is the Associate Experience team's Learning, Communications, and Projects Manager and prior she worked in Talent Acquisition as a Recruiting Team Leader and Recruiter. Before Humana, Debbie worked in Human Resources at Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 10 years. Debbie has been married to Dave for 21 years and they have two children: Nathan, 10th grade ANHS and ACA student, and Natalie, 9th grade ANHS student.
