MASTER DEVELOPMENT PLAN-2025 JAIPUR REGION Volume-3 DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR SATELLITE TOWNS & GROWTH CENTERS-2025 Achrol Bagru Bassi Bhanpur Kalan Chomu Jahota Jamwaramgarh Kalwar Kanota Kukas Watika Bagwara Chonp Pachar Shivdaspura & Chandlai JAIPUR DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY PREFACE he Plan is a dynamic instrument that will be augmented, from time to time by more Tdetailed Sub Plans that can address specific scenarios of site, program, infrastructure, and other factors. The plan calls for the establishment of a broad framework that will guide the physical development of the community over the horizon year in terms of land use, open space, density of development, primary circulation systems, and linkages with the surrounding community. Master Development Plan-2025 covers Jaipur Region but within Jaipur Region have many satellite towns and growth centers. In order to have balanced regional development, the MDP-2025 identified 11 satellite towns and 4 growth centers within Jaipur region. The following are Satellite Towns and Growth Centers: Satellite Towns: Achrol, Bhanpur Kalan, Jamwaramgarh, Bassi, Kanota, Watika, Bagru, Kalwar, Kukas, Jahota and Chomu. Growth Centers: Bagwara, Chonp, Pachar and Shivdaspura & Chandlai. The detailed profile and proposals of all satellite towns & growth centers in Jaipur region is provided in this volume which consist of introduction, profile of the towns, existing scenario and Master Plan policies & proposals with focus on demography, economy, infrastructure and land use in detail. Satellite towns are expected to act as counter magnets to the main mother city. However, experience of the past has proved otherwise. A satellite town ultimately ends up being an extension of urbanisable area of the mother city in the long run.

  • Annual Report 2019-2020 Presentation
0 1 INCEPTION The IISU grew out of the International College for Girls (ICG) which was established in 1995, as a college affiliated to the University of Rajasthan. Since then, ICG has crossed many significant milestones in its journey towards excellence in higher education. Besides receiving numerous other accolades, it was accredited A+ by the NAAC of UGC in 2005. It was also identified as a Model College by the state government in 2006 and thereafter it was conferred the status of Autonomous College in 2007 by the U.G.C. It was further recognized as a College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) by the UGC in 2010. In a national survey conducted by AC- Nielsen-ORG MARG, also in 2010 for the India Today magazine, ICG was rated as the topmost college in the state in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. Ranked among the top 30 institutions of the country in this survey, the College became a symbol of quality education and women‟s empowerment. The institution while working as an Autonomous College was declared as Deemed-to-be-a-University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, vide its notification dated 2nd Febraury, 2009, issued under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. This, more than an achievement, was a reaffirmation of our faith in the quality and innovation, in research and academics taken up at the institution right from its inception in 1995. Soon after becoming Deemed University in the name and style of „The IIS University‟, in a review conducted by the „Tandon Committee‟ constituted by the MHRD, it was recognized for its competence and strength and was placed in category 1, along with the 37 other Deemed-to-be-Universities of Category 1 across the country.

    P. Jian, et al. Chemical analysis of drinking... Int. J. Environ. Sci. Tech. © Winter 2006, Vol. 2, No. 4, pp. 373-379 Chemical analysis of drinking water of villages of Sanganer Tehsil, Jaipur District P. Jain, *J. D. Sharma, D. Sohu and P. Sharma Reproductive Physiology and Environmental Toxicology Laboratory, Department of Zoology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur-302004, India Received 15 October 2005; revised 7 November 2005; accepted 4 December 2005 available online 22September 2005 ABSTRACT: Due to pressure of human activity, urbanization and industrialization, the groundwater sources are degraded gradually; therefore pure, safe, healthy and odorless drinking water is a matter of deep concern. There are many pollutants in groundwater due to seepage viz. organic and inorganic pollutants, heavy metals, pesticides, fluorides etc. In Rajasthan state, all 32 districts are affected with high fluoride concentration in groundwater and among these Jaipur ranks second. The drinking water samples were collected in clean polyethylene plastic containers from villages (Code No. 51-100) of Sanganer Tehsil of Jaipur District.
