Duke Dumont @ Output: The King of Deep House

Some of you know from his well-known song ” ”. with his integration of ’s vocals. In tat moment in time, I found my new found love for Duke Dumont and researched a little deeper. That’s where the love truly began.

This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen Duke Dumont. From Marquee, EDC Las Vegas and now Output, Duke Dumont was phenomenal. He knows how to put on a show that is unforgettable and completely authentic.

Being my first time at Output, I must say, it was different. Their motto is not the club for everyone, which is understandable. Their strict no recording or photo taking policy is a thing. Upon arrival, they put stickers on your phone cameras. But, it is a great place to live in the moment and disconnect from reality.

Event Review

Personally, I always loved the fact that Duke Dumont has his own style. It always reminds me of Vogue Culture as music you can do anything to. Duke Dumont gave me the confidence to be myself. And, to embrace other people. Each Duke Dumont song is different and unique in its own way. From the songs “Melt” “The Giver” and his club remixes, Output was the perfect way to enjoy those songs.

The good thing about Duke Dumont set is that he didn’s play all of his iconic music all at once. The track transitions were placed perfectly wasn’t a dull moment in his set. And if you’ ask me to see him again, my answer would be yes.

The venue however for Duke Dumont was crap and everyone was moving. There wasn’t a lot of room for mobility but regardless, it was a good time! Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | Soundclo ud
