Artistic vision, Goodhue’s little friend You’ve heard the story of how the historic Kitchi Gammi Clubhouse came to be. In 1910, the Club formed a building committee with Guilford Hartley as chairman. The committee paid $42,000 for the land on the cor- ner of 9th Street and Superior Ave- nue and selected Bertram Grosvenor as architect. The Clubhouse opened January 1, 1914. However, there is a part of the story you may not know. Goodhue’s story.
