The following signals are regularly carried by the applicant's cable system (where signals are received other than by direct off-air pickup, please so indicate): See Attachment A - Attachment A is the Public File filed with the FCC on signal reception method for the Riverhead System. 7. Applicant does [ X] does not [ ] provide channel capacity and/or production facilities for local origination. If answer is affirmative, specify below the number of hours of locally originated programming carried by the system during the past twelve months and briefly describe the nature of the programmmg: Cablevision carries locally originated programming on a dedicated channel which includes a Community Bulletin Board as well as approximately 5 hours of new local origination programming per month such as: "Meet The Leaders" an interview format program with LI elected officials; and "Neighborhood Journal", covering LI community activities. 8. State and describe below any significant achievements and/or improvements that took place with respect to system operation during the past twelve months: 1. Cablevision maintains a 750 MHz fiber-coaxial hybrid system throughout the Town of Shelter Island. These systems allow for the provision of Optimum TV, iO digital (digital video services), Optimum Online (internet and WiFi services), Optimum Voice (telephone service) and HDTV, DVR and capabilities. This upgraded system provides customers with a wide range of choice, while improving picture quality, reliability and the reduction of outages. 2. Cablevision maintains battery operated stand-by power for each system. These power supplies will keep the cable systems operating from 2 to 4 hours in the event of a power failure. 3. Cablevision maintains a 24x7 computer monitoring system to track signals, outages and response time. 11. Indicate whether applicant has previously filed with the Public Service Commission its: A. If so, describe below: Cablevision continues to expand its iO Digital offerings, including, more than 400 all-digital channels, including more than 50 premium movie channels, 48 channels of commercial-free digital music and unique local services like News12 and News12 Traffic and Weather. There are 4000 VOD titles with a huge array of free On Demand channels, 70 free HDTV services, DVR services, iO espanol and a 12 distinct international programming packages. Cablevision also offers advanced interactive services like Optimum Autos, Optimum Homes and News12 Interactive.
