The events of the past year have left their mark, however: old friendships will be challenged, and new relationships will blossom. In an era increasingly defined by women’s liberation, social progress and scientific growth, the 1970s begin for Oxford’s finest with the discovery of a body on a canal towpath on New Year’s Day.

Vienna Philharmonic Summer Night Concert Encore FRI Aug 28 | 9p Because of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the beloved annual Vienna Philharmonic Summer Night Concert was cancelled this year. In its place, however, Great Performances is offering an encore of the magical 2019 concert, led by famed conductor Gustavo Dudamel in the beautiful gardens of Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace.
