The Thread Leaf Agave - Agave filifera, a native to central Mexico is a small or medium sized that forms stem less rosette up to 90 cm across and up to 60 cm tall. Dark green leaves edged with curly white hairs each have a sharp spine at the tip. The flower stalk is up to 3,5 m tall and is densely loaded with yellowish-green to dark purple flowers up to 5 cm long. Blooms once at full maturity, 10 to 15 years or older.
