Format: Each team is comprised of two men, two women and a coach. Team matches consist of five events, with one set each of men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. The first team to reach five games wins each set. A nine-point tiebreaker is played if a set reaches four all. One point is awarded for each game won. In this case under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (hereinafter “the Program”), the petitioners seek, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 300aa-15(e),2 an interim award for attorneys’ costs incurred in the course of the petitioners’ attempt to obtain Program compensation. On December 13, 2010, I issued a Decision Awarding Interim Costs, which was the fifth award of interim fees and/or costs issued in this case.
