The presence of the Spanish Minister of Development and of the President of the Regional Government Xunta de Galicia at the start of the works reveal the expectations placed on us, and the visit of representatives from all economic and social sectors at both national and regional level on that occasion made us feel widely supported.

The paradigm shift in the world economic, financial and business structures has had an impact on the industrial sectors which have been the driver of development of Ferrol and its region. Moreover, a fierce economic crisis, which has changed the international context, has also meant a great challenge for the main economic agents in this region.
