The district includes portions of the Cities of Brookfield, Wauwatosa and Milwaukee. Adamczyk was elected as the 35th Wisconsin State Treasurer in 2014 with over one million votes and has supported the effort to eliminate his office to save taxpayer money. “I am humbled by the support I’ve received from so many in my tenure as State Treasurer,” Adamczyk said. “I look forward to continuing my effort to reduce the size of government and will advocate for conservative policy as a state representative in Madison.” Adamczyk boasts an impressive resume including helping to manage a family business and operating a small home rental business. Before being elected state treasurer, Adamczyk served as an advisor to State Senator Leah Vukmir. Adamczyk graduated from Pius XI High School and earned a bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. “I look forward to bringing my private sector skills to the State Assembly,” explained Adamczyk. “As someone that grew up working in a small family business, I know firsthand the damage that big government can do to job creators.” Adamczyk is focusing his platform on supporting and building on the fiscal reforms implemented by Governor Scott Walker and legislative Republicans, protecting personal freedoms and upholding family values. “As state treasurer, I have proven that I will work to make government more efficient and cut government spending. CALHOUN ROAD, BROOKFIELD, WISCONSIN Election: November 6, 2018 Members Present: City Clerk Kelly Michaels; Republican - Jim Kratoska; Democrat – Bill Hotz Also Present: City Attorney Jenna Merten, Mayor Steven Ponto, Deputy City Clerk Renee Tadych, Chief Inspector of District 3 Rob Lied, James Foley of RACC representing Matt Adamczyk, Attorney Christopher Meuler and McKenzie Bagley representing Robyn Vining, Channel 12 News City Clerk Michaels called the meeting to order. Introductions were made. All members were present. City Clerk Michaels reported that in Ward 10, 1,134 voters were ticketed but only 1,106 ballots were accounted for by the voting machine. There is a 28 ballot discrepancy. She has gridded the poll books and she knows that 1,134 voters were given numbers. She stated the Chief Inspector told her that perhaps uncounted absentee ballots were comingled with voted ballots when a machine was cleared from a jam. Those ballots were secured in ballot bags. The purpose of today’s meeting is to refeed those ballots. This is not considered a recount. The purpose is to basically balance and reconcile the numbers in Ward 10. Deputy City Clerk Renee Tadych conducted the public test for Ward 10. Predetermined votes were fed into the machine. The “zero” tapes and “final” tapes were verified for the observers. The Board verified the results and signed the tapes. The Board opened ballot bag 1 of 2 Seal #009114 and 2 of 2 Seal #009113.

Board Chair Brad Schimel and Commissioner Doug La Follette voted in favor of the loans with Commissioner Matt Adamczyk voting against them. The BCPL approved the following loans: • Town of Ellington, Outagamie County / Finance roadwork / $100,000 • Johnson Creek School District, Jefferson County / Finance phase 2 athletic field project / $750,000 • Town of Lake, Marinette County / Purchase service vehicle / $55,000 • Town of Marquette, Green lake County / Purchase snowplow / $150,000 • City of St. Francis, Milwaukee County / Purchase public safety equipment and land / $1,265,000 • Village of Wyocena, Columbia County / Purchase development land / $50,000 The BCPL operates entirely on program revenue, without taxpayer money, and distributes more than 96 cents of every dollar of interest earned on BCPL State Trust Fund investments to Wisconsin’s public schools. The 2018 earnings of $35.7 million provide the sole source of state funding for K-12 public school library materials. Established in 1848 by the State Constitution, the BCPL consists of the Secretary of State Doug La Follette, State Treasurer Matt Adamczyk, and Attorney General Brad Schimel.
