When the relief materials started to accumulate on 17th August As a rapid response to the flood, a relief and rescue team was formed namely Koode (with you) and a website (http://stcrelief.in/) was created for unifying further operations. Although Koode along with staff members and students helped to recover many affected people, much of those activities were not recorded, as the situations required quick responses and were not favourable, many a times. The rescue operations were started by the members of swimming team of the college taking people out of unanticipatedly submerged houses in the suburbs of the city in the early hours of 16th August. Many of the students were in the college during that time preparing for the mega exhibition which was scheduled to open on that day. The management of fine arts festival was completely automated through the online academic management system for the first time in the history of the college by the fine arts cell. This made the entire process manageable with minimum number of organisers - from the registration to events by prospective participants to the real-time declaration of results.
