NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

PLANNING, DEVELOPMENT AND SPECIAL Under sub-section 3(c) of the Act, the Governor of INITIATIVES DEPARTMENT Tamil Nadu, hereby appoints the Special Tahsildar Land Acquisition, Kancheepuram Unit, Chennai Metro Rail Project, ACQUISITION OF LANDS No.7, Conron Smith Road, Harini Towers, 2nd Floor, Gopalapuram, Chennai-86 to perform the functions of the Collector under the said Act. [G.O. Ms. No. 112, Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (S.I), 30th August 2012, Aavani 14, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2043.] Under sub-section (4) of Section 17 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that in view of the urgency of the case, the provisions of Section 5 A of the said No. II(2)/PDSI/548(a)/2012. Act, shall not apply in this case.

Whereas it appears to the Government of Tamil Nadu SCHEDULE that the lands specified in the Schedule below and situated in St. Thomas Mount (Cantonment), Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District are needed for a public purpose to Kancheepuram District, Alandur Taluk wit for the purpose of formation of Alandur to St. Thomas Parankimalai (Cantonment) Village. Mount Track for Chennai Metro Rail project, notice to that effect is hereby given to all to whom it may concern in Alandur to St.Thomas Mount Track accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 (Central Act I of 1894) and whereas, it has become necessary to acquire the St. Thomas Mount (Cantonment) S.No.1357 (New immediate possesion of the lands specified in the sub-division No.1357/2) Government proamboke (B Form Schedule below, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs Lease Current Lease) Register holder/Interested person that the lands be acquired under the provisions of V. Vaidyanathan, Hon'ble Secretary & Treasurer Medical Section (1) of the Section 17 of the said Act. Research Foundation, Madras (Lessee) as per 1912 Revision Survey & Resettlement Register of St. Thomas Mount (Cantonment) (Ground Rent Fixed B Form Current Now therefoe in exercise of the powers conferred by Lease) and register column 14 (Remarks) Amount covered sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the said Act, the Governor by B Form lease for ever granted on 28.4.1903 under of Tamil Nadu hereby authorizes the Special Tahsildar Land Cantonment Code of 1899 (Not revisable) bounded on the Acquisition, Kancheepuram Unit, Chennai Metro Rail Project, north by S.No.1350 (G.S.T.Road), east by S.1357 pt, south No.7, Conron Smith Road, Harini Towers, 2nd Floor, by S.No.1357 Pt. and west by S.No.1356 (2.6 Metre Hight, Gopalapuram, Chennai-86, and her staff and workman to 3 Metre length) compound wall-1, EB shed floor-1, compound excise the powers conferred by the said sub-sections. pillar iron road-I, ground thotti (EB Junction-2) 462.37 Square Metre or 4977 Square Feet.
