REACH

VOLUME 5, ISSUE 2 SUMMER 2016

A Note from Vicki Dear REACH Participants,

We will be completing the REACH study this year. Most of you are already finished with the study. We have started looking at some of the data and put together a few conference presentations this past year. During this next year, we will be spending a lot more time analyzing data and writing papers. Currently, we are working on a paper that uses a procedure called a “trajectory analysis.” Because we have data on your HbA1c’s for 12 years, we can plot those over time and see if there are distinct patterns. The patterns are called trajectories. This is likely to be the first paper that we will write. When the study is completed next summer, we can share some of the data with you.

In presenting the early data to professionals, people are always Inside this issue: impressed with the fact that so many of you have stayed with us for so long. I end up getting the praise – but the praise goes to you! A Note from Vicki 1 Thank you for hanging in there with us all these years. Summer Movies 2-5 Enjoy the rest of your summer.
