23/24th/25th Pantomime Barbour Institute [email protected] 18 11 PENNIES CONTINUE TO DROP!

It may seem to have gone a little quiet after the huge success of PUTTING ON THE RITZ but behind the scenes a lot of work is still being done to achieve the huge goal we have set ourselves to ensure YOU and many people in the future can spend a penny in St Albans. We end the first year of fund raising with the “Pennies from Heaven” Concert, details of which are on the colourful poster elsewhere in this magazine. The Concert will have a Christmas Theme and is a chance to enjoy previous performers as well as some fabulous new acts. Christmas readings and audience participation will add to the fun. Tickets at £7 each (12 and under free) include mulled wine and light refreshments during the interval. Those who experienced the Ritz will know that refreshments offered at St Albans are a real treat! This will be an ideal way to start your Christmas –

DON’T MISS IT!

2014 will bring new and varied fund raising ideas and we very much hope that you will take up the challenge and support as many as you can. If we can raise a significant amount of money we can apply for grants to match what we have raised. So don’t delay, the sooner we reach the target, the sooner I stop asking if the penny has dropped!!

LOTS MORE TO COME IN THE FEBRUARY EDITION – in the meantime you can still donate by text – NEWL00 £5 to 70070 (NEWL ZERO ZERO). The “PaytoPee” pots, which work on the same principle as a swear box, are incredibly popular and raising money steadily.

Have you got yours? If not they can be obtained from Church, Georgina or me.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year.
