Jenkins takes on another old friend, in Television - None Donovan Rose, who has instilled a tough, aggressive style in his teams over the past four years, and is a Hampton alum. As head coach, Rose has accumulated an 18-18 record with the Pirates. He is in his 22nd year with the program, having previously served as an assistant coach under Joe Taylor, winning the 2003 D-IAA Assistant Coach of the Year honors. Since taking over at Hampton, his teams always show tough defense and Social Media innovative offensive schemes.
