The difficulty in weighing non weight bearing people was Action Point 3 – Marie Dix to check the discussed. Di suggested the weighing equipment, possible purchase possibility of setting up weighing of anything needed and feed back to clinics as nursing staff and Andy. equipment is limited. The nursing staff involved are fully trained.

Holt Hub has hoist scales and is happy for people who don’t use 5 the hub, to be weighed there. The hoist is funded by Holt Hub.

There is a possibility that the hoist scales at Sprowston hub could be used. It was suggested for the possible weighing clinics that; • Two people needed to be present. • Scales should be calibrated annually. • Time slots for each session should be 20 – 25 minutes. • If a person is stable they could be weighed once every 3 months.
