San Jose finished in 4th place in the Pacific Division with a .537 winning percentage and will battle the top seeded Reign (.684%). As the top seed, the Ontario Reign elected to have the first two games of the series in San Jose before hosting games 3- 5 in Ontario. The Barracuda and the Reign met 12 times in the regular season, including six meetings at SAP Center. San Jose went 3- 6-3-0 vs. the Reign this season as the Barracuda were outscored 21-28 by the Reign. The Barracuda went 3-2-1-0 vs. Ontario at SAP Center this season. In case you missed it… Highlights on the ice last week included Nikolay Goldobin and Barclay Goodrow each recording their 20th goals of the season for the Barracuda vs. the Heat. Nikolay led all players with five points (2-3-5) in the two games while Jeremy Morin (1-2-3), Jeremy Langlois (1-2-3), Trevor Parkes (3-0-3), and Joakim Ryan (0-3-3) all added three points. Aaron Dell made 41 saves and picked up his 4th shutout of the season in San Jose’s playoff clinching victory over the Heat on Apr 17 and Alex Gallant scored his 1st career AHL goal on Apr 17 – the last goal scored in the AHL for the 2015-16 regular season.
