Porsche Design watches have been inspiring the world for almost 50 years. In 2014, Porsche Design – a subsidiary of Porsche AG – ­established a factory in Switzerland. The founding of Porsche Design Timepieces AG marked the beginning of a new way of timekeeping.

Although the company in Solothurn is still in its early years, high-quality timepieces have been part of the Porsche Design DNA from the beginning. Today, sports car and watch specialists are work­ ing side by side to construct new technical masterpieces whose ­appearance is reduced to the essentials – just as Prof. F. A. Porsche would have wanted. But it is not just the appearance that says Porsche­ at first glance. On the inside are exclusive Porsche Design movements – manufactured with the highest precision and the latest technologies before being placed in their cases by hand.

With “Porsche Design for Porsche”, we are the only vehicle ­manufacturer­ in the world to offer our customers a sports car feeling on their wrist: owners of Exclusive Manufaktur vehicles or limited small series have the opportunity to obtain their own personal Porsche Design Chronograph made exclusively to match their sports car. Thus, further intensifying the experience of owning such a vehicle. The timepieces are manufactured exclusively to order by Porsche Design Timepieces AG.

Elements of the legendary sports car were already available for the wrist, but now the new custom-built timepieces* truly revolutionise the luxury watch industry. Using the specially developed watch con­ figurator, the timepiece can be assembled according to your very own liking – from the case and the strap to personal engraving. All built upon the high-performance Porsche Design Chronotimer Series 1 and manufactured in our own watchmaking factory in Switzerland – in line with Porsche production principles and the quality typical of Porsche.
